As a tractor trailer truck driver, you'll be a vital part of our team, collaborating with co-workers and managers to keep operations running smoothly. You'll be trusted to uphold our high standards for safety and professionalism while delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
  • Thrive in a safety-sensitive workplace and pass a "Fit for Work" physical.
  • Provide valid documentation for I-9 verification.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Show flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strictly follow all safety procedures and wear PPE in designated areas.
  • Hold a current driver's license that meets state requirements (CDL, Class B; hazmat and tanker endorsements a plus).
  • Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company standards.
  • Be at least 18 years old to comply with workplace safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in the construction field is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a team environment and engage with both co-workers and management.
  • Champion safety by strictly adhering to all company policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and DOT guidelines.
  • Perform thorough daily inspections of your vehicle and maintain necessary documentation for compliance.
  • Follow dispatch instructions and obey all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep meticulous logs of vehicle mileage and monitor gauges during operation.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, with care for product quality.
  • Maintain your truck in clean, top-notch condition, performing minor service and maintenance as needed.
  • Foster a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues, using clear communication, including hand signals and constant eye contact when backing.
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members to help build a stronger, more capable workforce.
  • Adapt and assist by performing general labor and other duties as assigned.
