Interscholastic Athletics - Track and Field Coach
About The Position
Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center is seeking an energetic and committed Track & Field Coach to lead our boys and girls teams. The coach will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all aspects of the track and field program for 7th and 8th grade student-athletes. This includes teaching the fundamentals of various events, developing training plans, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, and preparing athletes for both individual and team success in competition. The Track & Field Coach will plan and conduct practices, evaluate athlete progress, and assign athletes to appropriate events. Additional responsibilities include supervising student-athletes during practices and meets, maintaining equipment, coordinating meet logistics and transportation, and communicating regularly with athletes, families, and school staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and inspire middle school athletes, and a commitment to promoting academic achievement, character development, and a positive team culture that reflects the values of Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center.
