About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a TQE (Technical Quality Engineer) in Davenport, Iowa . This is a first shift position and the pay is $25-27hr. Overall Purpose TQE (Technical Quality Engineer) assists the customer as the primary liaison between the customer's assembly processes and the customer's reactive supplier quality department. The TQE utilizes a combination of customer assembly specifications and their personal inspection background to maintain the customer's quality expectations accurately, efficiently, and in a professional manner. Reports to Site Manager/Director of Operations

Nice To Haves

  • Quality and Engineering experience preferred
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • 2 or 4 year technical degree in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Client relationship & Business development Respond to the customer's assembly line quality problems
  • Communicate containment issues to the customer's reactive supplier quality department and participate in long-term corrective actions as required
  • Ability to interface with various levels of the customer's staff
  • Establish short term product containment and/or request product rework for defective products
  • Document and report assembly line and non-operational product quality issues
  • Investigate and report findings of supplier caused non-operational product quality issues generated on the assigned shift
  • Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast paced environment
  • Investigate quality complaints and determine the root cause of the problem
  • Ability to use computer software programs
  • Any other duties as assigned
