Role The Tower Finance Intern will be responsible with assisting teammates to perform high quality and accurate financial reporting and operational analysis. Examples include preparation of quarterly forecasts, operational performance analysis, and reassessment of budget assumptions. They will also be responsible for conducting and documenting recurring and ad hoc financial analysis for assigned business units. This person will support in breaking down complex business problems and summarize their findings into simple business stories. Ability to work independently, seek answers, and be curious are crucial.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a degree program from an accredited higher education institution
  • Applicants must have completed at least 60 credit hours by the first day of the internship
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 1 to August 6, 2026
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements and reports, including budget to actual variance analysis, identifying trends and anomalies
  • Reconcile and summarize data from multiple sources
  • Assist in preparation and maintain financial and operational analysis, forecasting, and reporting of financial and business performance
  • Maintain data accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness in our financial databases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the evaluation of Crown Castle’s finance strategies and implement tools for standardization and process efficiencies
  • Evaluate project plans to help identify and resolve errors and faulty assumptions
  • Influence conversations and work through building of relationships through excellent work
  • Collaborative work done in a way that balances educated decision making with measured speed of implementation
  • Effective communication between teammates and manager
  • Work with counterparts to provide financial information and analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
