Key Responsibilities Able to make the following decisions: Control of aircraft to and from ramp in the non-movement areas. Anticipate aircraft movements in coordination with FAA Ground Control. Sequence and separation for pushback and engine start at the gates. Prepare for sequence of arriving traffic prior to arrival at the ramp. The merging of arriving and pushback traffic that will assure all aircraft equitable treatment and provide for minimum delays. Able to resolves problems with: Communications equipment Aero Bahn Flight arrival Monitor (Ground Radar) display Gate Explorer display Gate Management computer programs. Instruct aircraft how and when to push-back, instruct aircraft when to taxi, who to follow, and frequency transfer points to metering. coordinate with airport authority when necessary. Responsible for delay prevention and cancel impact mitigation, thru issue resolution or escalation to station leadership as required Support standard work to achieve On Time and safe performance Effectively communicate and interact with both internal and external departments and agencies in the performance of their work Prepare and compile flight departure paperwork as needed, audit and file flight paperwork and fuel service records Support and assist in planning and coordinating irregular operations including Long Tarmac Delay situations and reporting Plan and manage gate and remote parking Update Flight Information in all applicable programs Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role Other duties as assigned
