About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is expanding our Orlando team and seeking Light Duty Tow Truck Operators. We value positive attitudes, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck. Essential Functions Respond efficiently to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents Maintain communication with motorists while en route Perform basic repairs or tow vehicles to repair facilities as needed Safely load vehicles onto your truck Remove illegally parked vehicles as required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, climb, and perform tasks requiring significant strength and stamina Frequent use of hands and full physical mobility required Key Behaviors Passionate, motivated, and open to growth and challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required! We will train you to operate the tow truck! Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years MUST be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse (For CDL holders only) Commission Pay 30% Commission - Our drivers average $800-$1,300 weekly. This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary paid position. $200/night guaranteed or commission (whichever is greater) Schedule NIGHT SHIFT 6 pm to 6 am Five-day and Six-day work weeks available (Weekends ARE mandatory) Benefits 6 Paid Holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) 75% Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Offered- plus Free Term Life Insurance Paid Time Off with accruals starting on day 1 and available at 90 days. 401K Match up to 4% Career Development Accident, cancer/critical illness, short-term and long-term disability, and hospital indemnity insurance available $1,500 Driver Referral Bonus About Us Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport , a family-owned business since 1960, proudly serves the greater Tampa Bay and Orlando areas. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience
