About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is expanding our Orlando team and seeking Light Duty Tow Truck Operators. We value positive attitudes, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck. Essential Functions Respond efficiently to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents Maintain communication with motorists while en route Perform basic repairs or tow vehicles to repair facilities as needed Safely load vehicles onto your truck Remove illegally parked vehicles as required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, climb, and perform tasks requiring significant strength and stamina Frequent use of hands and full physical mobility required Key Behaviors Passionate, motivated, and open to growth and challenges. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience
• Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work
• Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse (For CDL holders only)

Nice To Haves

• Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required! We will train you to operate the tow truck!

Responsibilities

• Respond efficiently to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents
• Maintain communication with motorists while en route

• Safely load vehicles onto your truck
• Remove illegally parked vehicles as required
