The position includes, but is not limited to: providing benchmark customer service, monitoring tour tickets, serving as a source of ballpark information for all guests. They will also be trained to have a vast knowledge of PNC Park rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Have a vast knowledge of Pirates history
  • Have a vast knowledge of PNC Park including but not limited to; all of the policies, procedures, services and facility locations
  • Must have good public speaking skills
  • Must possess a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to customize and adapt tour delivery to cater to diverse audiences across all age groups to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for each guest
  • Long period of standing and walking

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and takedown of all tour items; such as - Clubhouse equipment, museum equipment, treasure boxes, etc.
  • Conduct tours of PNC Park as either “front” tour guide or “follow” tour guide.
  • Verify tour tickets upon entrance into ballpark.
  • Enforce all MLB ballpark entrance policies as they would on a game day.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Tour Supervisor or Manager, Customer Service.
