Requirements

• Effective Communication: Ability to convey information clearly and engagingly.
• Enthusiasm: Passionate about caves, education, and discovery and excited to share knowledge with others.
• Organized: Manages time and scheduling well and ensures tours run smoothly.
• Charismatic and Positive: Creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
• Team-Oriented: Willing to work with a team and assist others in their duties.
• Punctual: Comes to work on time and is on time to all scheduled tours.
• Knowledgeable: Willingness to learn additional types of tours, cross train in other departments, and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Guided Tours: Lead guests through cave tours, providing guests with accurate information.
• Research and Learn: Memorize provided scripts to give to guests on tours and learn information to answer guest questions.
• Uphold Guest Standards: Communicate with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic way, answering questions, and ensuring a world-class experience.
• Ensure Safety: Monitor group safety and adhere to safety protocols during tours.
• Maintain a Clean Environment: Participate in beginning and end-of-day cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, collecting trash, ect.
• Other Duties: May be assigned tasks as needed to consistently ensure guest satisfaction, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards.
