About The Position

The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Tour Guide (Part-Time) to join their amazing team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. We're looking for passionate storytellers with a flair for the dramatic to lead guests on engaging, spooky, and historically rich tours of our iconic property. From the famous ghost of Kate Morgan to the hotel’s Victorian-era roots, you’ll share tales that blend mystery and history. Requirements

Strong public speaking or performance background
Interest in history, the paranormal, or local legends
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays

Previous tour guide or hospitality experience a plus

Responsibilities

Lead nightly ghost and history tours around the hotel grounds
Deliver captivating, accurate, and theatrical storytelling
Engage with guests and answer questions about the hotel's history and legends
Maintain a professional yet entertaining presence at all times
