Who We're Looking For The Director Total Rewards is a member of the HR leadership team and is responsible for all aspects of design, implementation, administration and communication of all company compensation and benefit programs. Drives Syniverse’s global total rewards philosophy and principles through oversight of the preparation of job descriptions, job evaluations, salary surveys, and establishment of salary structures. Responsible for incentive programs and bonus plan design and administration. Monitors and evaluates the company’s benefits programs including: medical, dental, vision life and disability insurance programs, 401(k) plan, time off policies and wellness. Ensures optimized programs aligned with current trends, practices and costs. Oversees policies and procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation practices and benefits policies. Coordinates vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. - Some of What You'll Do Duties and Responsibilities Leads all activities related to the design, implementation, administration and communication of global benefits and compensation programs. Partners with global business leaders and regional/functional HR Leaders to ensure effective design development and successful implementation of programs globally. Work closely with these teams to manage, consult, and resolve compensation and benefits issues. Develops a comprehensive, effective communication strategy to communicate programs to employees. Successfully engages, manages and maintains relationships with internal and external vendors/brokers. Oversees the negotiation of agreements with brokers, insurance carriers, financial institutions, etc. for the administration of benefits programs. Analyzes and provides recommendations for improvements to total rewards plans to support Syniverse’s current and long-range goals and objectives. Provides subject matter expertise and interprets, counsels, communicates, and educates HR Business Partners, managers and executives on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations. Develops and implements a global recognition program that supports Syniverse’s culture. Leads the annual compensation planning cycles, providing expert counsel on the design, development and administration of compensation programs, salary structures, base salary adjustments and short term and long term incentives. Leads the annual benefits planning process for the U.S. and other countries and directs the administration of a full range of benefits programs including program enhancements, benefit contract renewals, service contract administration, benefits enrollment, wellness programs and leave plans.
