About The Position

Kelvion Inc., one of the leading global and domestic manufacturers of heat exchangers is seeking to hire a Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our Corporate Team. This position can be located in Knoxville, Catoosa, or Atlanta. Under the supervision of the Vice President, Human Resources, the incumbent is responsible for the administration, coordination, and enhancement of our Total Rewards Programs. This position oversees the development and implementation of compensation structures, benefit plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will provide Benefits subject matter expertise across the region. Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, and ability to balance and complete multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate among multiple functions and levels within the organization.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Solid judgement; negotiation and objectivity skills
  • Change driver and implementation
  • Creative recruiting approaches
  • Knowledge of current and changing state and federal laws; administration practices of such
  • Proficient and professional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Regularly hand lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, ten plus years of experience in benefits and compensation management
  • 5+ years directly related full-cycle benefits experience in a Human Resources department setting required  
  • Experience administrating open enrollment cycles required.
  • Experience using HR system for benefit administration and ACA reporting required
  • Proficiency in MS products (word, office, excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Administer all company benefit programs and related processes to ensure benefit programs are effective, efficient, compliant, and in alignment with the overall business strategies and objectives
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure regular, clear communication and appropriate benefit administration and support of employees
  • Ensure vendors are adhering to best practices and SLAs. Understand the correlation between service levels, quality and cost; act as change agent for ensuring the appropriate balance.
  • Coordinate with benefit plan vendors to resolve administration and escalated employee issues
  • Create, implement, and manage open enrollment each year, including collaboration on plan design (internally and externally), Systems configuration, and open enrollment communication concept and execution
  • Measure effectiveness of existing benefits programs, including utilization, employee impact, and cost. Based on analysis, provide recommendations, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement any new offerings.
  • Ensures all plans, programs and processes comply with applicable governmental laws and regulations. Manage related policies to provide consistency of application, quality assurance and best practices. Create and manage a program to conduct regular vendor and plan audits as applicable.
  • Work with brokers to secure annual benefit plan renewals, including cost analysis and alternative plan design
  • Prepare monthly analysis of HRA statistics and other relevant KPIs
  • Experience in stakeholder management in a matrixed organization
  • Travel within the region 2-3 times a year
