To assist in leading team in building and trouble-shooting automated machines, sub-assemblies and electrical components. As a Tortilla Room Machine Operator, you will be the point of contact for all Tortilla Room team members in the absence of the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager. You must be able to act proactively to ensure seamless team operations and effective collaboration. As the machine operator, you will lead by example and engage the team to achieve goals. Assistant machine operators will plan, organize and recommend strategies, ensuring that the product is developed successfully, in accordance with Tortilla Room specifications. Requirements Duties and responsibilities: Performing machine alignments and final set-ups. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Break down, clean and cover all electrical component to prepare for wash down Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Inspect parts and machines with precision and measuring tools Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws; correct as needed Ensure dough is properly mixed and prepared for distribution Ensure proper stacking of tortillas is completed Ability to stage product for next step process Understand and follow all department SOP’s (Site Operating Procedures) Ability to understand, read and complete all necessary paperwork, including but not limited to FDA Documents Ensure finished product is palletized/wrapped in preparation for departure to next process Mediate mechanical/personnel issues that might occur during the shift Asist with overseeing all cooking Procedures of Product, per FDA regulations Core Responsibilities: Assist with and inspire team atmosphere with an open communication culture Asist in communicating daily goals and follow progress Monitor team performance and report on metrics Assist in identifying performance gaps and implement additional training as needed Be open to feedback and engage in issue resolution at all levels Follow and support all company GMP and HACCP policies Perform required checks and fully understand quality standards Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and conducting inspections Assist with daily production records and verify all documentation is completed correctly and timely Qualifications:
