About The Position

The Toolmaker I is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from prints while performing manual machining and precision tooling tasks.

Requirements

• proficient in print reading and shop math
• hands-on experience with manual machining
• positive attitude and enjoy working collaboratively with others
• detail-oriented and take pride in precision work

Responsibilities

• Assemble blister form and heat seal tooling using provided prints
• Perform manual machining using mills, lathes, and drill presses
• Polish molds and assist plugs used for blister form tooling
• Drill vacuum holes in molds using precision drills as small as .009
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support tooling needs as required by production and engineering teams
