Responsibilities
- Plans and prepares schedules for die designs for die castings, trim dies, gauges and production design requirements in accordance with customer specifications.
- Coordinates models to be built and die building .
- Liaises with customer engineering department.
- Standardizes die components and compiles design standards.
- Searches out new technology in die design and implementation.
- Prepares operating and capital budget for engineering department and works within approved cost control budget.
- Updates and maintains equipment.
