About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a 1st Shift Tooling Technician for the Fond du Lac facility. This role offers a flexible schedule with starting pay of $28 per hour or higher, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Works with Production Manager to develop schedule that meets production needs.
General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
Prepares tooling and tooling related accessories for installation in press
Follow tooling best practices
Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies and works with appropriate personnel to order replacement parts as needed.
Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e. lock out/tag out, etc.).
Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by AMP.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
