About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Tooling Technician – 3 rd Shift to join our team located onsite in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you are responsible for preparing and maintaining tooling for the timely manufacture of customer products according to the customer’s specifications. Prepares and assembles all tooling for upcoming production runs prior to the time when they are needed, including back-up tooling when necessary. Maintains a working knowledge of machine operations in order to determine how a customer product should be made. Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player. Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent required
  • 3+ years’ manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Auto Cad experience, preferred
  • Experience with calipers, dial indicators, protectors, squares, rulers, etc.
