About The Position

Tooling Mechanic Company: Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) has an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Mechanic to support the Tooling Team in Berkeley, MO! Position Responsibilities: Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teams Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components (Examples: Marvel saw, mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.) Other responsibilities to include: Blueprint Reading, 3D Model Interrogation, Machining, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years’ of experience working in a tool fabrication environment. High school graduate or GED Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with Aerospace tool fabrication Certificate or Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion) 1+ years’ of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery Experience with Software (MasterCAM, NX, Verisurf, etc.) Experience using manual inspection and CPU driven equipment such Laser Trackers Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Requirements

  • 3+ years’ of experience working in a tool fabrication environment.
