About The Position

This position is required to maintain the molds used in injection molding presses.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Responsibilities

• Work in a neat and orderly manner
• Maintain molds in accordance with Tool Shop procedures
• Work with more experienced associates to maintain molds
• Work with a variety of associates to accomplish organized objectives
• Tear down and assemble molds
• Change core inserts & orifice sizes
• Ability to read digital calipers for orifice pin size identification
• Understanding workings of molds
• Clean Shop as needed
• Detect possible future problems or existing problems during the course of preventive maintenance
• Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.
• All other duties as assigned
