This position requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills. S/he must be mechanically oriented with the ability to work with a variety of hand tools and lifting equipment. During the Apprenticeship the Apprentice will receive on the job learning and related instruction in all phases of the occupation necessary to develop the skill and proficiency of a skilled Journey worker. The Apprentice is responsible for completing all OJT and related classes as required by the Apprenticeship Training Program. The Apprentice must abide by the guidelines set forth in the Standards of Apprenticeship. The Apprentice must adhere to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices. Successful completion of the Apprenticeship Training Program will result in a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.
