About The Position

The Tooling Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production tooling and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role ensures tools function correctly, safely, and reliably.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in machining, tool & die, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in tooling, machining, or manufacturing support roles.
• Ability to properly use basic hand tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tolerances, and production processes.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to follow Safety Rules in a machine shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• Basic welding or fabrication skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on tooling, molds, dies, fixtures, jigs, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve tooling issues to minimize downtime and improve product quality.
• Perform insert changes on plastic injection molds.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• All other duties as assigned.
