About The Position

Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Tool & Die Maker. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is 33.50 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Operates standard machine shop tools and CNC controlled machinery to make tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and machine parts to the blueprint specifications Assists Engineering in the design of tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and machine parts Maintains existing and new blueprints Uses an Optical Comparator, precision measuring instruments, and other gauging and inspection tools Assists Molding Department with mold processing when applicable Maintains working knowledge of heat treating all tool steels and their characteristics for their proper use Maintains working knowledge of the Rockwell Hardness tester on ferrous and non-ferrous metals Maintains a powered industrial truck license to move molds with forklift, crane, and other mechanical devices Follows environmental regulations and waste disposal procedures Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years experience operating CNC making tools
  • Experience operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC(50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
