JOB SUMMARY: Performs, restores, and guides teammates in repairing, maintaining, and building dedicated and prototype tooling. ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: Maintains and services dies Builds and repairs specialty tools and fixtures Analyzes tool, die and fixture problems and coordinates corrective action Designs and creates part holding solutions Collaborates with engineers about print designs and area work Coordinates tool maintenance activities (Tool Preventative Maintenance – TPM) Documents tool maintenance and compliance records Specifies and orders required components and services Collaborates with cross functional teams including operations support, production engineering, product development and external tooling vendors on tool, die and fixture solutions and maintains project schedules Participates in continuous improvement activities Prints and sketches reading SECONDARY DUTIES: Works with Creo/GD&T
