About The Position

The Apprenticeship Program is a four year program and is comprised of two main components; On-The-Job Training (OJT) of at least 8,000 hours, and course studies of at least 576 credit hours. Apprentices are paid throughout the entire program, with an hourly increase every six months. All tuition/books are reimbursable to you provided a grade of B- or better is received. Apprentices receive valuable classroom and On-The-Job Training and become an internal source for filling key jobs. Learn how to use a wide range of machines and hand tools to machine metal components Learn how to assemble complex tool and die assemblies Learn how to safety operate cranes and hilos Upon completion of the program, graduating apprentices will receive a Journeyman Certificate from the United States Department of Labor. Course work include, but is not limited to: Technical Math Theory of Machine Operations Industrial Graphics with CAD Blueprint Reading Welding Die Design
