Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • A Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • 1+ years of experience of Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe tool operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong computer skills (ERP/CMMS transactions, inventory lookup, email, and spreadsheets)
  • Ability to read part numbers, basic technical documentation, and identify common maintenance/production items
  • Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to urgent part/tool needs.
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing, issuing, and receiving tools, spare parts, and consumables to support production and maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, bin/location control, and timely transactions
  • Using a computer system (ERP/CMMS and/or spreadsheets) to track parts, tool assignments, and reorder points; strong computer skills required
  • Inspecting tools and small equipment on return; cleaning, tagging, and staging for reissue or repair
  • Repairing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and miscellaneous small equipment (basic troubleshooting, part replacement, functional testing)
  • Coordinating with maintenance, production, and purchasing to identify critical spares and ensure timely replenishment
  • Making trips to local suppliers as needed to pick up parts and supplies to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining an orderly, safe tool crib area and following all plant safety policies and procedures
  • Production and equipment support
