About The Position

MTU provides maintenance from targeted hospital visits to complete overhauls on over 30+ commercial aero engine and industrial gas turbine lines and has completed more than 18,000 shop visits for over 1,400 customers worldwide. Within this Global network, MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services. Tool Calibration Technician The Calibration Technician ensures the accuracy and compliance of all precision tools, gauges, and measurement equipment used in aircraft engine maintenance. This position contributes to a dedicated team responsible for the comprehensive management and strategic development of all tooling-related aspects within the engineering department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration of precision tools and measurement equipment according to standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and certificates in digital systems.
  • Plan and execute calibration schedules to prevent downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA and OEM calibration requirements.
  • Support audits and inspections related to measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues.
  • Perform calibration of precision tools and measurement equipment according to standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and certificates in digital systems.
  • Plan and execute calibration schedules to prevent downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA and OEM calibration requirements.
  • Support audits and inspections related to measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues.
