As a Tool Assembly Production Technician Lead, you’re the go-to expert for all processes and equipment in your department. You drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while providing work direction and leading by example. With a high level of mechanical aptitude, you troubleshoot and operate all systems, collaborating with engineering, Tool & Die, and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. Requirements

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience : 7+ years in manufacturing role with previous lead experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor, coach, and direct daily work of team.
  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in operating, troubleshooting, and adjusting complex machinery, including robotic equipment. Quickly learns new technologies, tools, and processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to diagnose equipment issues, adjust processes, and resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement Skills : Ability to identify waste, lead Kaizen events, and complete A3s.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Troubleshooting : Set up, troubleshoot, and support advanced technology machines and processes.
  • Team Leadership & Safety : Coordinate daily tasks, lead safety initiatives, present key metrics, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Equipment Operation : Start up, operate, and shut down advanced technology equipment and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements and encourage lean initiatives.
  • Training & Development : Assist in writing training materials and serve as the primary training expert.
