CACI is looking for a technician who can serve as a skilled technical specialist to build, align and test high precision Electro-Optical and mechanical systems in support of production Space/Satellite programs and aid engineers in the development of test and alignment fixtures and tools. This is a second shift position (2:30 pm to 11:00pm shift). Will at some point move to four ten hour days Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2:30am What you'll get to do: Fabricate subassemblies and perform integration of subassemblies with electrical, optical and mechanical components for production units Independently follow detailed, pre-approved work instructions and test procedures and record detailed test data in Travelers Support requests for parts, materials and equipment required for assembly and testing of subassemblies. Ensure that all tools, equipment, and consumables are within calibration and expiration dates. Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and any modifications made. Create comprehensive documentation outlining assembly procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Inspect products, materials, or components to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Use various tools and techniques for inspection, such as calipers, gauges, and testing equipment. Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to provide feedback on design improvements and manufacturing processes. Other duties as assigned.
