About The Position

If you love kids, enjoy movement, fitness, gymnastics, or coaching—and want to have a ton of fun while doing it—you might be exactly who we’re looking for! We’re hiring enthusiastic new team members to join us at The Little Gym of Plano ! LOOKING FOR PARENT/CHILD and PREK CLASS TEACHERS Need someone who is available at least TUESDAY & THURSDAY MORNINGS . Additional days are flexible and can be discussed based on your availability and our needs. FULL-TIME must also work at least one day on the weekend. We are seeking ACTIVE instructors who are FUN, have high-energy, happy, enthusiastic team-players to lead gymnastics activities and games for kids. No gymnastics experience necessary but must be willing to learn and be coachable. Must have high STAMINA and high ENTHUSIASM to move with the kids AND hold the kids through the gymnastic movements. MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD (i.e. kids coach, gymnastics instructor, classroom teacher, sports teacher, dance teacher, gymnast, cheer, sports, etc.) What We Expect from You: Introduce kids to the serious fun of education and play within The Little Gym's unique learning environment. Actively teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!). Provide outstanding customer service and membership experiences—our members are like family here. Maintain a clean facility and contribute as a team player to get work done. You’d fit in here if… Create a warm, fun, and educational environment for the children in each class. Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK! You love having fun, like giving high 5’s, and can play like a child! (A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics helps as well) You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good. Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too. You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work. You may think we’re awesome because… Children walk out of our classes more confident than when they walked in every single day. You’ll get your steps in and close your activity rings while you work because you’ll be moving all day. Requirements

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD (i.e. kids coach, gymnastics instructor, classroom teacher, sports teacher, dance teacher, gymnast, cheer, sports, etc.)
Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
Excellent social skills and comfort interacting with parents.
High energy and a positive attitude.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new teaching methods.
Must have high STAMINA and high ENTHUSIASM to move with the kids AND hold the kids through the gymnastic movements.

Nice To Haves

A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics helps as well

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging gymnastics activities and games for children of various ages.
Spot and assist children during gymnastics movements to ensure safety and proper technique.
Build positive relationships with both children and parents, especially in parent-child classes.
Create a fun and supportive environment that encourages growth and development.
Maintain high stamina and enthusiasm while interacting with the kids.
