About The Position

We are currently looking for a full-time TMS Technician at our Los Angeles clinic. This is an in-person role working Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM PST. The TMS Technician is responsible for working closely with the treatment team and following through with orders provided for patients at the facility. You will conduct Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) sessions, neurofeedback sessions, biofeedback sessions, and assist with Spravato treatments. In this role, you will ensure that patients are educated on the process, treated with kindness, and that all questions are answered. Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record is essential to this position.

Requirements

  • TMS Certification.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
  • Seizure Safety Certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work within an electronic medical record system.
  • Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds at distinct levels.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Spravato, neurofeedback, or biofeedback treatments.
  • Experience in a behavioral health or integrated care setting.
  • Familiarity with fMRI data and clinical research support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interventional psychiatric treatment sessions (TMS, neurofeedback, biofeedback, Spravato) and document accordingly.
  • Complete and sign all patient notes in the electronic medical record system within 48 hours of service.
  • Supervise patients' health conditions and provide the highest level of individualized care.
  • Prepare and review medical records to evaluate patients' physical and emotional status.
  • Provide client care and monitoring according to physician orders, care plans, and established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Report clinical progress to the relevant providers, including physicians, midlevels, and therapists.
  • Sign, date, and perform all charting and recordkeeping in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Upload and mark up fMRI data as needed.
  • Conduct literature reviews as needed.
  • Assist with data management and clinical research projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
