The Alternate Title Specialist investigates titling issues using decision making and problem-solving skills to move vehicles through the pipeline to Auction. This involves networking across the country with our field operations for best practices and processes, staying up-to-date with legislative changes impacting the vehicle titling industry, and utilizing virtual multi-platform databases including government DMV/BMV third party sites.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of one year of office support experience in a customer service/sales role.
Experience with title processing a plus.
Previous customer service experience.
Ability to work well independently & as a team player to achieve goals.
Professional phone etiquette.
Must possess excellent time-management & organizational skills.
Possess a strong work ethic and decision-making skills.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail; checks and balances.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience with title processing a plus.

Responsibilities

Utilize decision making and problem-solving skills to free up aged insurance claim vehicle inventory.
Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to vehicle titles; odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
Ability to understand and apply all DMV laws, rules and regulations concerning insurance claim vehicles.
Efficiently and accurately identify/analyze/process ownership documents within company and state alternate special transfer guidelines.
Performs administrative duties in the office such as data entry, follow-ups, reports, and word processing associated with Copart documentation and services.
