About The Position
We are looking for a Title Specialist to join our corporate Due Diligence team. This position would assist the due diligence team and attorneys on our commercial real estate transactions across acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. This role plays a key part in ensuring clean title and smooth closings by assisting on ALTA survey updates, title commitments, and coordinating with title companies, attorneys, and internal deal teams. This is a great opportunity to work on complex commercial real estate transactions within a collaborative corporate team.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial real estate title, escrow, legal, or transaction support
- Familiarity with title commitments, zoning, ALTA surveys, and title policies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in the communication of Title and Legal comments on ALTA Surveys to surveyors
- Help attorneys with the resolution of title exceptions, easements, encumbrances, and restrictions
- Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and legal teams through to closing
- Review ALTA surveys and related title matters to support attorney’s review
- Review Zoning reports for code violations & work with county / city / state departments and sellers to resolve
- Support due diligence in the closing process for commercial real estate transactions
