Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • 5 plus years title/related real estate experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with company operating systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to research independently as needed
  • Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to manage and balance multiple projects
  • Detail / quality orientation
  • Analytical review skills
  • Research skills
  • Strong problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Datatrace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reviewing title searches primarily for commercial transactions for residential development.
  • Researches exceptions to title that can be eliminated following underwriting guidelines
  • Properly prices policies and endorsements, using appropriate schedule of fees and charges
  • Familiar with all aspects of title work
  • Utilizes technical bulletins in order to evaluate and resolve problems
  • Participates in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients
  • Other duties as assigned
