Summer 2026 Title I Summer Enrichment Program Multilingual Learner Teachers - Rising Grades K-6 (2 Positions Total) Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts teacher certification in ESL. Successful teaching experience in elementary grades. Experience implementing standards based curriculum in Literacy and Mathematics. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Applicants must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. Qualifications - Preferred Experience teaching in the Malden Public Schools Special Education License Duties and Responsibilities: Administer and score pre/post tests and write anecdotal evaluations of student learning Participate in two staff development meetings. Plan with other educators during the 30-min. ‘Prep’ period with particular attention to language development embedded in content Implement rigorous and standards-based lessons using core curricular materials as well as targeted, Tier 2 interventions in literacy and math. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required. Duration: Program Administration and Implementation 74 hours total to include the following: Professional In-service Days June 17 & 18 (5 hours each day). 16 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6 – July 30 (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.).
