About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to verify information and paperwork provided for trade-in vehicles as part of car deals or auto purchases. Prepare legal transfer documents to obtain clear titles for retail sales or wholesales.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive accounting experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Consistency and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.
  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork for multiple internal and external customers.
  • Strong mathematical/analytical skills.
  • Produce high-quality work while under deadline pressure.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Ability to set a positive example for others by consistently displaying servant leadership behaviors in daily actions and decisions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • The physical demands of the job include the use of hands and fingers, reaching, bending, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and driving.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel within or outside the area.
  • Travel for this position is infrequent.

Responsibilities

  • Review all out of state paperwork involved in transferring vehicles, trades, or wholesales to ensure that we can proceed
  • Process all out of state trade payoffs and trade-in paperwork
  • Prepare all out of state title paperwork for wholesale transactions
  • Ensure notes are input and kept current for all out of state titling and trade titles
  • Prepare and update outstanding titles report regularly – Including follow up on unresolved required documents
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for loaner/rental units and courtesy deliveries
  • Assist in handling customer calls regarding out of state title work
  • Provide superior customer service to all customers
  • Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
  • Take an active role in both corporate and community activities
  • Perform additional duties as required
