About The Position

The Tissue Culture Crew Leader plays a key role in the daily success of our tissue culture lab, combining hands-on lab work with team coordination and operational support. In this role, you’ll help organize and monitor lab activities, support team productivity and maintain detailed records. Requirements

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must posses a high school diploma or GED
Comprehensive knowledge/experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team
Must be detailed, organized and communicative
Bilingual skills are required
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as production schedules dictate
Ability to accept change and be flexible to meet department needs
Must possess a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities

Assist with labor management
Understand the production and quality standards of the lab
Responsible for record keeping and inventory documentation
Participate in planning, production and scheduling meetings as required
Ensure label and tagging accuracy
Assist with shipping and order pulling seasonally
Participate in weekly crop walks to ensure quality standards and comprehension of programs, sizing, and quality
Input information into MS Office programs including but not limited to Excel, Access, Word, Prop Module, and DYMO labels
Willing to help in production areas as seasonal demands require
Assist at all West Coast Propagation sites (Dayton, Yamhill, TC) as seasonal demands requires.
