About The Position

The Tire Technician reports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager and Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. The Tire Technician is personally responsible for providing proper tire inspections, repairs and replacements on the existing operational fleet. Performs repairs on tires only and must have and/or be able to pass TIA certification. Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicles and equipment. Completes daily inspections of all wheel positions on vehicles and equipment. Performs safety inspections and/or repairs of DVIR reported issues. Operate all related equipment and tools as trained. Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area daily. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma and/or GED
1 - 2 years’ experience in heavy truck equipment & light duty truck tire maintenance
Must be able to work overtime if needed.
Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA rules and regulations
Consistently behaves in a manner that is appropriate and professional
Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information
Valid Class C Driver's License
Acceptable Driver's Record
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
