The Tire Sales and Installation role is responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing them, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look daily, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized, inside and out) is crucial. Team members should also understand how to access and interpret production and financial performance reports for their department, recognizing the impact of consistent execution on the business.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in the selection and purchase of tires, including verifying the sizes for vehicles.
• Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Repair tires.
• Complete necessary tire bay documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain tire bay policies and procedures.
• Properly dispose of tires.
• Ensure propane tanks are filled per club policy, if certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately utilize available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Properly utilize tire bay equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
