The Tire and Battery Service Advisor maintains the safety and standards of the facility and sales floor, ensuring the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) is organized, stocked, and merchandised according to company policies. This role involves monitoring tire and battery orders, assisting members with installation appointments, communicating lead time changes, and providing tire maintenance and repair services. The advisor offers expert member service, making recommendations based on product knowledge and Sam’s Garage, explaining warranties, and resolving concerns. They are responsible for driving sales and service excellence in the TBC, triaging and prioritizing service workflow in the bays, and making recommendations to the TBC Team Lead or Technicians to maximize efficiency. The position requires knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, equipment operations, TPMS, and Point-of-Sale systems. Advisors leverage technology like digital tools and handheld devices to enhance operations and engagement. They serve as a brand advocate, valuing the member's experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training team members. The role also includes completing vehicle service requests, operating TBC equipment safely, handling merchandise, maintaining documents, and processing member purchases, returns, and exchanges while complying with company policies and ethical standards.
