About The Position
Bruin Waste Management is seeking a reliable and hardworking Tipper/Assistant to join our waste collection team. This role is essential in supporting our drivers with the safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste and recyclables.
Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work early morning shifts
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in waste management is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with daily waste and recycling collection routes
- Operate the tipper mechanism to empty bins into the truck
- Ensure bins are returned neatly to the curb
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around the truck and work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and the public
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
