Baylor University is seeking a TIP Residential Summer Assistant Director. Baylor TIP’s mission is to identify students with exceptional talent in STEM and the humanities and provide them with world-class learning opportunities commensurate with their potential. During the summer, students in grades 8-12 who have been admitted to TIP have an opportunity to take advanced classes while living in a Baylor residence hall. The TIP Residential Summer Assistant Director provides administrative support for the residential program, creating a safe and supportive community for students and providing fun and engaging activities for them in the evenings and on weekends. The position requires living in the residence hall with faculty, staff, and students for training, set-up, and the duration of the program, typically throughout the month of June. For the three weeks that students are living in the dorms, the Assistant Director’s daily schedule and time off will vary. The Assistant Director is on call at all times, though, to assist with emergencies, should any arise.
