About The Position

Strittmatter Companies is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician Level 2 to join our internal IT department. This role focuses on desktop support, help desk support, Office 365 administration, Windows support, and mobile device management across multiple company locations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting Windows PCs, Office 365, printers, mobile devices, and MDM systems in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in: IT Support Technician Desktop Support Technician Help Desk Technician (Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience supporting: Windows PCs and laptops Tablets and smartphones Printers and copiers
  • Experience with remote support tools (TeamViewer, SolarWinds, Skype, or similar)
  • Experience administering Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with MDM systems
  • A+ or ITIL certification required
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, customer-focused approach
  • Schedule IT coverage between 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Occasional after-hours and weekend support required

Responsibilities

  • Level 2 IT support / help desk support for internal users
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10 / Windows 11 Pro desktops and laptops
  • Provide remote IT support and onsite desktop support
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
  • PC, laptop, tablet, and smartphone deployment and configuration
  • Printer and copier troubleshooting
  • Software installation and configuration
  • Maintain and support MDM systems (Microsoft Intune preferred)
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Create and update IT knowledge base articles and FAQs
  • Provide onsite IT support at: Manassas, VA Brandywine, MD NW Washington, DC
