The Tie-In Operator will replace empty weave machine beams when they’ve run out and ensure new beams are straight and operating in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, climbing, reaching and handling
Responsibilities
- Safely operate motorized and manual warp trucks to pick-up and distribute weave machine beams
- Report any mechanical issues
- Stage tie-equipment and warps for tie-back
- Avoid hitting beam head on other warps
- Scan all weave machine beams prior to moving into weave room
- Load, comb and/or lease warp to
- Ensure straightness
- Ensure all ends in pattern prior to tying
- Ensure patterns are correct
- Put machine in oil bath one time a week
- Follow plant safety rules
