About The Position

Attention: The Young in the College of Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Ticketing Services Specialist (Administrative Specialist, AD006). Job Details: The Ticketing Services Specialist is responsible for executing a range of professional-level administrative and operational functions supporting Ticket Services, including ticketing system administration, event financial processing, reporting, and customer service coordination. This position supports revenue-related activities and ensures accurate financial and operational processes for ticketed events while adhering to established institutional policies and procedures. This position will be required to work all home football games, and the work schedule may include evenings and additional weekends based on event needs. Work is performed in office and event venue environments. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of The Young.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree OR high school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in customer service, financial processing, administrative operations, or ticketing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort learning new administrative systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and high-profile environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in higher education, nonprofit, or public sector environments
  • Experience supporting events, performing arts, ticketing systems, or front-facing operations
