Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Combination of 1-3 years’ experience in a comparable role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Guest Service and communications.
  • A positive outlook, strong communication skills including public speaking or meeting facilitation skills and the ability to engage others.
  • Must be able to maintain composure and organization in an often hectic and loud environment.
  • Able to de-escalate high stress situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 30 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including late evenings

Responsibilities

  • Interviews, selects, trains, and supervises ticket taker staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff.
  • Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments.
  • Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Investigates and resolves all guest complaints.
  • Interacts positively with guests to maintain guest loyalty.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Venue Management.
  • Work with scheduling payroll administrator to ensure that all staffing needs are met.
