THE ROLE A box office ticket agent will be responsible for providing accurate information and exceptional guest services related to upcoming shows, special events, concerts, restaurant functions, ticket sales, including upselling ancillary products in relation to those events.

Requirements

  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
  • Entry level knowledge of basic computer operations and point of sales systems (i.e., Google, Micros, etc.)
  • Skills in guest relations; phone etiquette, cash handling (1 year experience), filing, in a multi-task environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with both customers and coworkers
  • Ability to type 30 wpm
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Teamwork; work well with others, in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment
  • Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance
  • Punctual attendance with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous ticketing experience (i.e., Ticketmaster)
  • Working knowledge of Windows based PC programs

Responsibilities

  • Cash handling; bank procedures and check-out procedures
  • Maintain superior customer service both in person and over the phones
  • Answer phone with prompt and courteous attitude
  • Guest relations (including sales of additional products and services)
  • Will Call window (troubleshooting ticketing issues)
  • Run ticketing program on the computer for sales
  • Process opening and closing paperwork
  • Knowledge of booked talent and entertainment for the venue
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance
