What You'll Do as a Retail Department Manager As a hands-on retail leader, you'll: Oversee daily store operations while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Lead and supervise your own team-coaching, training, and motivating staff to meet sales and production goals. Drive marketing and social media efforts, building awareness and engagement for the store's promotions, events, and community involvement. Ensure exceptional customer service, positive donor interactions, and smooth volunteer experiences. Support the Store Manager with scheduling, merchandising, inventory, and performance management. Requirements

  • 1+ year retail sales or customer service experience (required).
  • Leadership/management experience strongly preferred-ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using social media platforms to promote store events, sales, and community engagement.
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
