The position involves sorting products and preparing items for sale within store guidelines, as well as assisting customers with their purchases. The employee will operate a cash register, maintain accurate financial records, and report any discrepancies to the store manager. Responsibilities also include receiving and selecting merchandise from donated items, pricing items, maintaining merchandise displays, rotating stock, answering customer questions, and keeping records of sales and inventory. The employee will assist in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the store area, and may be assigned other duties as needed.
