Operate Thread Roll and Fillet Roll equipment to produce precision components from MP35N, MP159, and other high-strength alloys. This role involves performing and validating setups, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal machine performance. The operator will interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, conduct first-piece inspections, in-process audits, and SPC monitoring to maintain quality standards. They will also submit Stop/Call/Wait cards for recurring issues and support root-cause and corrective-action activities. The position requires leading daily communication with supervisors and peers, including production planning and shift-change updates, and training, mentoring, and motivating other operators. Ensuring tooling, fixtures, gages, and programs are available and ready for production, supporting 6S initiatives, monitoring equipment condition, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating material shortages and production concerns are also key aspects.
