The company is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Roll Form Operator.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license
- The skill and ability to operate an order picker and all forklift equipment (obtained by passing OSHA required written test and demonstration)
- The ability to lift product (up to 20 lbs. 2/3 or more of the time, up to 50 lbs. 1/3 of the time), stand for 8 hours a day, count and write
Responsibilities
- Maintaining awareness of safety principles and following safety standards of position
- Inventory control of goods (counting, recording, reporting)
- Maintaining order and placing all stock in designated areas
- Organizing goods and assisting with designating stocking locations as needed
- Quality control of product (identify and report defective, damaged, or otherwise bad products), reworking or scrapping as required
- Serving as a back-up to Forklift and Order Fillers
- Wrapping skids of product for shipment, staging, recording and loading of internal transfers
- Helping in other locations and departments as necessary
- General shop cleanliness
- Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership
